HuMENA is sustained by institutional grants and partners who believe the record must stay open.
We are a non-profit, non-partisan organisation. We do not run public donation drives or sell anything. We are funded by foundations and institutional donors whose support lets us document violations, protect defenders and keep this archive open and free to read.
If your foundation or institution funds human rights, civic space or independent documentation in the Middle East and North Africa, we would value a conversation.

We accept no funding that would compromise what we document or who we stand with.
Transparent
Our funding sources and use of resources are open to the institutions that support us.
Long-horizon
Documentation and protection are slow work. We seek partners who fund for the long term.
